Love it or hate it, you can’t ignore it. 'Kitsch' art has a presence in the daily lives of everyone.
Derived from the German word that means 'to throw together' .Kitsch refers to artworks such as calendars, posters, photos, advertisements, and other mass produced similar objects.

Though it was not easily accepted in the art world initially, it has gone to carve a place for it self, and not even eminent artists like Anjoli Ela Menon or Atul Dodia, could resist making some very famous art works with themes derived from Kitsch'.
There is a sizeable number of Kitsch lovers whose passion for this art is not less in any way then that of other, so called elite artworks. And one such passionate of Kitsch is Rahul Rajora.

At 35 years of age, the lover of art has an enviable collection that has come through sweat and toil. For this love he has been criss-crossing the length and breadth of country for over ten years and has met artists and collectors, printers and publishers, small time dealers to nawabs.

Today his collection comprises of more than ten thousand artworks (still adding) that can  boast of the largest number of Original Calendar Artworks, (includes works of S.M.Pandit, C.Kondiah Raju,K.Madhavan,Mulgaonkar,P.Sardar to name a few),Film Posters, Old postcards,Old calendars, some dating back to 1910,Prints ,Ravi Varma Oleogrpahs ,Old Gramophone Records to Enamel board advertisements etc.
