Calendar Art





	Art Remixx houses the biggest collection of original art works of Indian calendars. These art works were executed in late sixties and seventies, for the printing of calendars & advertisements, and has become sought after collectible today. The subject varies from mythology to history, politics to cults, film actresses to pinups. Apart from tremendous control of brush, great concentration, a vivid imagination and knowledge of socio-cultural scenario was required of an artist. Here u find works of masters like, C.Kondiah Raju, S.M.Pandit, P.Sardar, .R.Gondhalekar, L.N.Sharma along with a no. of other artists.





	Find here a most elaborate collection of chromolithographs, oleographs, photographs, post cards, old calendars, bazaar objects, advertisements, enamel boards, film stills, posters, nathdwara paintings, postal stamps, collectibles.....the nineteenth and twentieth century Indian popular visual imagery which influenced the construction of cultural, social and national identities.
